TNAP Platforms Pvt Ltd
We're building theName.app.
The Universal App — one platform for messaging, content, commerce, and mobility, with a unifying economic engine that pays people for the time they spend on it.
We all come into this world, and we are given a name.
All our lives we work towards building our name.
And when we leave this world, all that remains is the name. This is not a tagline. It is the reason theName.app exists, and the reason for its name. The platform is built around a single idea: a person's name is the most fundamental unit of identity they carry, and the digital home for that name should belong to them — with everything they create, earn, and are known for attached to it.
What we're building
The Universal App
theName.app is one app that does what people normally need ten apps for — messaging, content, commerce, food, mobility, search, wallet — under a single identity (#@yourname), with a unifying economic engine underneath.
The engine: a patented engagement-payment model that pays users a share of every advertiser rupee their attention generates. Commerce and mobility commissions sit well below industry standard, funded by the more efficient advertising layer. The same economic system reaches off-platform through an SDK and a curated search index of verified publishers.
We name the category Universal App, not Super App. Past super-app attempts integrated user interfaces without integrating economics. The Universal App is the integrated platform with integrated economics.

Founder
Salim Mallick Shariff
The insight came in Dubai in 2014 — inside an advertising agency, the honest answer to "what would actually make people engage with brand content" was pay them. Twelve years later, after a decade in deep-infrastructure tech in Bangalore, a granted patent, and twelve months of AI-assisted solo construction, theName.app exists.
