theName.app

The Universal App — one platform for messaging, content, commerce, food, mobility, search, and wallet. Built around one identity (#@yourname), with an economic engine that pays people for the time they spend on it.

One identity

#@yourname

Phone-verified at signup (real person), webname for public and portable identity (like email and URLs). Together: a verified-real-person identity that is also publicly addressable.

Around that name, the platform gathers everything — content, commerce, wallet, presence on the open web. Each user's #@ destination is their AppSite — not a profile page. It's their complete digital home.

Surfaces

Ten things in one app.

Features are never branded. They're verbs and nouns: message, video, shop, food, ride, stay, search, wallet, Angel, connect.

  • message

Chat and groups, voice and video. End-to-end encrypted by default.

  • video

Clips, posts, and long-form videos. Creators earn from engagement.

  • shop

Marketplace for products. 10% flat commission — half the industry standard.

  • food

Restaurants list, take orders, integrate delivery. Same lower commission.

  • ride

Mobility with a 5% commission. Drivers keep 95% of fares.

  • stay

Bookings and hospitality, same low-commission pattern.

  • search

Users, content, products — plus verified third-party apps and websites.

  • wallet

The Blessings ledger. Earned across all surfaces. Withdrawable or in-app spend.

  • Angel

Built-in AI assistant, one per user. Helps navigate the platform.

  • connect

Built-in email and calendar, attached to the user's identity.

The engine

Every interaction earns.

Watch a clip — earn. Read a post — earn. Message a friend — earn. Search for something — earn. Buy something — earn. Every action on every surface contributes to the user's wallet, against the user's name.

The platform's revenue comes from advertising (engagement-paid, not impression-paid) and from commerce commissions that sit well below industry standard. Labour is not where the platform makes money. Delivery agents keep 100% of delivery fees; drivers keep 95% of fares.

Three distribution channels

The engine radiates outward.

01

Destination app

iOS, Android, web, desktop. Where users live, message, consume content, shop, eat, ride, and earn directly.

02

Publisher SDK

Third-party apps and websites integrate the SDK to serve engagement-paid ads on their properties. Publishers earn the 35% share that would otherwise go to creators on-platform.

03

Curated search

Verified third-party apps and websites appear in search results. Self-service publisher onboarding. Already live.
